The generational bridge

You love each other.
You no longer understand each other.

The Family Bond reveals each member's Ikigai and builds the bridges that ordinary conversations never managed to create.

30 minutes · Free · No commitment

Two close people. Two parallel worlds.

A father and son who no longer speak the same language. A family duo who meet at meals but not around what truly matters. A childhood complicity that has frayed over the years without anyone knowing exactly how or why. It's not a lack of love. It's a lack of shared language. Each person has their own drivers, their own fears, their own reasons for getting up in the morning, and we rarely take the time to put them on the table. The Family Bond is that space. A place where each person lays their cards without judgment, and where a third party helps read the convergences you hadn't seen.

How it works

Pierre-Louis first conducts an individual Ikigai Assessment for each member of the duo. Each explores their four spheres separately. No mutual influence at this stage. Then comes the joint session: we overlay the profiles, identify real points of connection (where your Ikigais naturally cross) and friction zones (where your drivers diverge without you knowing it). You leave with concrete shared projects, not vague promises, but dated milestones. Closeness isn't rebuilt with good intentions. It's built with a plan.

2 individual assessments + 1 joint session · In-person recommended · On request

What you get out of it

Clarity on what truly motivates each member, without the filter of family politeness

Real points of connection between your Ikigais: where closeness can be (re)built

Concrete shared projects with milestones, not wishful thinking

A neutral space without judgment to say what's never said in families

A lasting diagnosis: Ikigai profiles evolve slowly, they remain relevant for years

It's made for you if…

  • A father and son (or daughter) who want to find common ground beyond daily life
  • A couple looking to align their life projects, not just their schedules
  • A family going through a transition (retirement, career change, children leaving) and wanting to navigate it together
  • Two family members who feel they're losing sight of each other

It's not for you if…

  • A situation of acute conflict or family breakdown (seek a family mediator)
  • One person wanting to do the assessment for the other without the other being willing
  • A context where one member isn't ready for an honest introspection process
« My Ikigai is helping people find themselves. Sometimes, the first 'other' to reconnect with is someone from your own family. »

Frequently asked questions

Do both members need to do their assessment separately?
Yes, it's designed that way. The individual exploration must be free of mutual influence for the profiles to be authentic.
Can we do a Family Bond with more than two members?
Yes, but the configuration is adapted case by case. Contact Pierre-Louis to discuss.
Does the Family Bond replace family therapy?
No. It's a discovery and shared project tool, not therapy. For deep conflicts, a family therapist is the right person.
Is it possible if we live in different cities?
Yes. Individual assessments can be done remotely. The joint session in person is recommended but not mandatory.

A question before deciding?

The 30-minute discovery session is free and no-commitment. It's the best place to start.
